Bold and rich taste. Bean size is smaller than the Kona extra fancy and Kona fancy, yet they all come from the same trees of the Country Samurai estate. The flavor is wonderful and a little heavier, the acidity is low, the roast is full city with no bitter taste. Our production level for Kona No. 1 is about 10-15% of the crop and at times not available because of its limited supply. This arabica bean is lower in caffeine than the robusta beans used in canned coffee in the grocery stores.
